Derrick Galantowicz

Derrick grew up in Columbus, Ohio and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University before graduating from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois with a Certificate in Business Law. During law school, Derrick interned with the National Women’s Soccer League and clerked at an intellectual property and general business law firm.

Following graduation from law school, Derrick relocated to Colorado and joined a firm to focus on corporate and real estate transactions and other general corporate matters. This experience afforded him significant exposure to and proficiency in orchestrating complex transactional agreements, as well as providing comprehensive counsel to clients on general corporate affairs.

In 2025, Derrick decided to return to Columbus and is enthusiastic about joining KMCY. He is eager to leverage his background and contribute to KMCY’s Corporate and Real Estate Practice Areas by assisting clients with their legal needs.
